Here are some various design projects I have completed throughout my courses at NC State.
This is the dimensioned drawing of the chainsaw sprocket I created in SolidWorks after we measured it in class in MAE 200.
Here is an image of a pen I created in SolidWorks for the class GC 120. This is a picture of the final assembly of all of the individual parts that I measured from a real pen and then created created in SolidWorks.
Here is the mechanical music maker that I created with my group for the Freshmen Engineering Design Day (FEDD) challenge in Fall 2018. It worked by rotating the barrel which caused the pegs to raise the wooden levers and as the peg slipped past, the lever released and dropped on the appropriate jar. The jars were filled with different levels of water to play different notes; the music maker was designed to play Hot Cross Buns.
